Similar to my past year, this review will be choppy and somewhat random.
I had some great traveling experiences this year. I went all over Ireland with my family over the summer and then went to England by myself on my first real solo trip. Over Winter Break, I went on an international study tour with the Honors Program to London and Cambridge. Both of these experiences were incredible, which you can read about further in their respective pages elsewhere on this site if you feel inclined.
This past year has brought a new member to the Kelley family; I was so happy to meet my first niece into the world last fall. She is a beautiful, spaz-y baby that has shown me so much love.
Later in the year, I got out of my comfort zone and went hang-gliding with the UC Mountaineering Club in April. I was so worth the 15-hour round-trip drive.
It wasn’t all luxurious vacations, I worked this past year too. I worked two jobs in the summer: one, finishing up my research position at Cincinnati Children’s, and the second at Currito Burritos (which I continued in the fall). Both very different from each other, but both very enjoyable.
I just started my Co-Op position through the University and I am beyond grateful to be getting one-on-one guidance from a registered nurse for the whole calendar year leading up to graduation.
I plan to really make the most of my last year in college, something everyone says but is entirely true.
